Portfolio update April 2019

I’m back!

Hello and welcome, here is my portfolio update for April 2019.

First of all, I would like to apology to you all for being this late for April’s portfolio update.
Why was I late? As you can see in the picture displayed below I am wearing some sort of digi camouflaged pants.

In the Army Now
Working hard or hardly working?

Let me explain.
Every year Estonian Defence Forces’ play through an exercise called “Spring Storm”, it usually involves up to 10 000 troops from Estonia and allied countries. But you have already served your “time” in the Defence Forces’ you ask? Well the troops always involve reserve units and ta-daa, I got invited as well. I took it as a great opportunity to broaden my sight, make new connections and see my old comrades. The Spring Storm lasted 2 full weeks for me, from the end of April to the middle of May.

In conclusion: Sleeping just a few hours at a time right under the stars in a sleeping bag really makes you think about the luxuries we have today, especially if the temperature is close to 0 celsius or damp or even worse raining/snowing.

NB! Soldiers get paid depending on their rank, so it’s not a complete waste of time. If you want to know how much, ask me in the comments.

Bikeep started trading

Speaking of spring and warmer weather, did you get your bike out to enjoy the weather? Bikeep started trading at 30th April and the average price is already up from 1.0 to 1.29. Read more about Bikeep.

My feedback to the returns

Time flies when you are having fun, right? Invested 500€ to Bikeep Syndicate and another 370€ to B2P loan.

My total passive income from investments from January 2018 to April 2019:

Mintos

I have a total of 5000 euros invested in Mintos and the platform generated me a total of 55,71€ of interests. Pretty darn close to the old record, but still far far away.

Envestio

Started investing at Envestio in February, but to be honest, I totally forgot about it and maybe some of you sharper pencils even figured it out that I have not mentioned it under the “comments to the returns”. Anyways, here it is, with a bang! Received a decent 8,14€ of interest income from Envestio.

Sign up to Envestio through my referral link, you will get a 5€ bonus when you deposit at least 100€. In addition, you will also get a 0,5% cash back on all your investments the first 270 days. That’s 9 full months!

Estateguru

Estateguru has ups and downs all the times, because it often has bullet-loans and when a project is finished there will be a spike in the graphics. Just like it is from last year’s September to this year’s March. This is all part of a plan and nothing to worry about.

Crowdestate

Slowly but surely getting those interests in from Crowdestate as well. All of my 500€ have been invested and are working hard!

B2P loans

Nothing much to add, the business to peers loan have been going well and the interests keep on coming!

Real-estate

Apartment #1 Income 16,05€. So far no problems with the apartment nor the rent payments. Overall a superb tenant!

Private real-estate As I mentioned, in November I sold the private real-estate apartment. Will write about this transaction in the near future.

Apartment #2 In March 2017, me and my fellow business partners bought one more apartment, which is located at the capital of Estonia, Tallinn. I have a total of 3600 euros invested in the apartment, which is generating me 27,40€ per month.

Due to the location of the apartment, the tenants are a bit fishy. Me and my fellow investors have a small concern about the unpaid utility bills and we are thinking of selling the place. It would be a pretty cool sight to see, due to the fact that we haven’t calculated the profit numbers yet. I imagine the profit will be huge!

The apartment is for sale right now and we are expecting more than a 10K+ profit from the sale!

Bondora

In June 2018, I decided to exit from Bondora. It was the first platform I started investing in with just 10.1€ being the first deposit. Crazy right? It has served me well, even though I made lots of rookie mistakes, I am exiting with positive vibes. Farewell Bondora!

I will keep posting about Bondora for some few months MAX, then I will stop, due to the lack of investments in that P2P platform.

Omaraha

Omaraha’s company account interests 80,43€ and loss from sold loans 18,9€. Which means the profit was 61,53€.

Under private account there was a total of 3,62€ of profit and 3,39 loss from sold loans, which means a total of 61,76€ of profit from Omaraha.

The loans keep going out, but the loss from sold loans keeps on worrying me. Too many ups and downs or what do you think?

Twino

By the end of April, I had close to 450 euros available cash on my Twino accounts. Soon I will transfer the money to my bank accounts and invest it to other platforms. As I’ve mentioned before, I will exit with my companies accounts, but will still be investing with my private account.

UpSteam Syndicate

In October, I made a small investment of 340€ at Funderbeam into the company called UpSteam. My shares are worth 656,2€.

In March they announced that the next market they will expand to will be Finland. The expansion will start in the summer. The UpSteam app is also in large part complete but some bug testing, fixes, integrations etc need to be done yet. Will be revealed on 20th May the latest, hopefully sooner.

UpSteam got mentioned in Geenius.ee and Äripäev, technology and business news sites here in Estonia, google translate can help international investors: https://raha.geenius.ee/rubriik/uudis/mobiilset-autopesu-pakkuv-eesti-idufirma-upsteam-laieneb-esimesele-valisturule/

Tanker Brewery Syndicate

In September 2018, I made a small investment of 500€ at Funderbeam into the company called Tanker Brewery. At March my shares were worth 470€. I hope that the new brewery will up the numbers a lot. Read more at https://www.funderbeam.com/syndicate/tanker-brewery

Bikeep Syndicate

In March 2019, I invested 500€ into Bikeep through Funderbeam. In 30th April Bikeep started trading and the shares worth raised from 1.0 to 1.29. Read more about Bikeep – https://www.funderbeam.com/syndicate/bikeep/

Losses

22,29€ of loss at the site Omaraha. At least it wasn’t as bad as February, but still a loss, all of it from Omaraha.

Blog income

In April, the blog generated a decent 89,65€ of income on its own. It isn’t as much as the last month, but atleast I am doing something right. My blog’s main reason is to log my own investments and share/receive information with all of my readers. Let’s keep this symbiosis going and grow it even further!

Blog statistics

In April, I had a total of 755 visitors at the blog, which isn’t a new record, but I am still happy with the results.

Visitors: 755 (-10,11%) Page views: 1736 (-30,97%).

Also, in the middle of March, I decided to stop the Google ads for a bit, because I would like to see the growth more organically, I want the visitors to reach my site naturally. Like Googling or by seeing someone sharing my articles.

Google Analytics stats about the blog

In April 2019, I had a total of 185 keywords shown at Google. Recorded a total of 68 clicks and 2294 impressions, which calculates to 2,96% CTR.

The average position of keywords keeps on dropping (which is a good thing) and now is at 25 (was 28). The main goal is to have loads of important keywords at the front page (top 10) or even top 3. If I keep the SEO clean and Google keeps on ranking my keywords, it will definitely help a lot to get traffic to the blog.

This is it, the end of April update!
