Hello and welcome, here is my portfolio update October 2019.
October had a pretty slow start, just like my e-shop sales. But everything worked out and looking back at the results, it was pretty solid month.
Sadly the blog stopped growing, no records this time. It had to happen, I saw it coming, but it still hurts. Hence, both the referral side hustle income and viewership numbers took a small dip, but nothing to worry about. I’m still pleased with the results.
Anyways, enough of words. Let’s dive right in.

This “Fur Processing company” project at Crowdestor’s platform was probably the most discussed topic in October. Interest rate was at enormous 26%.

Let’s dive deeper into the numbers
In October I invested another 370€ to a B2P loan and Estateguru finally opened secondary market!
My total passive income from investments from January 2018 to October 2019:

Mintos
Total of 5000 euros invested in Mintos and the platform generated me a total of 53,39€ of interests.
I don’t know if it’s a thing now, but my Mintos account is STILL encountering heavy cashdrag. I do not want to lower the interest rate any lower, it is already at 11.2%.
If things don’t improve, I guess I have to withdraw money from Mintos.

Envestio
In October I earned a total of 6,05€ of interest in Envestio.
Invested the rest of my free to use balance into 2 different projects. Spare parts wholesale company financing-part 1 and Development of a large dolomite deposit-tier 4.
Both have pretty high interest rates at 17,5% and 18,5%. If I would withdraw money from Mintos, Envestio would be one of the alternatives for sure.
Envestio review – Envestio portfolio
Sign up to Envestio through my referral link, you will get a 5€ bonus when you deposit at least 100€. In addition, you will also get a 0,5% cash back on all your investments the first 270 days. That’s 9 full months!
Estateguru
In October Estateguru released a feature called Secondary market, which provides an option for extra liquidity and an early exit.
My Estateguru accounts interests income in October 2019: 13,4€.
Still no action on the private account, where I have 111,82€ invested. 2 of the loans I have invested in are full bullet loans, which means no interest nor principal payouts until the date is due.

Crowdestate
Just another classic month at Crowdestate. 3,01 euros of interest were received.

B2P loans
Nothing much to add, the business to peers loan have been going well and the interests keep on coming!

Real-estate
Apartment #2 is now SOLD, selling date was in the middle of September 2019.
Total investment 37 450€.
Property #2 sold for a price 41 300€ – cost = 40738€.
Apartment sold for 40 738€.
My initial investment 3600€. In the end got back 4654€.
My profit from investing 3600€ was 1054€.

Apartment #1 Income 16,05€. So far no problems with the apartment nor the rent payments. Overall a superb tenant!
Private real-estate Sold the private real-estate apartment.

Bondora
In June 2018, I decided to exit from Bondora. A year has gone by and I don’t even miss Bondora! It was the first platform I started investing in with just 10.1€ being the first deposit. Crazy right? It has served me well, even though I made lots of rookie mistakes, I am exiting with positive vibes. Farewell Bondora!
Exited from Bondora with a loss of 65,57€!

Omaraha
My company’s Omaraha account is having same difficulties like my Mintos account, cashdrag … At the end of October, there was something like 150 to 200 euros available.
Even though the numbers are way smaller than in Mintos, it’s still a worrying sign. On the plus side Omaraha has almost double the interest rate, investment terms are at 21.7%. Mintos auto invest is at 11.2%.
Omaraha’s company account interests 88,59€ and loss from sold loans 13,07€. Which means the profit was 75,54€.
Under private account there was a total of 5,96€ of profit, which means a total of 81,48€ of profit from Omaraha.

Twino
EXIT from Twino still continues. As I’ve mentioned before, I will exit with my companies accounts, but will still be investing with my private account. So you should be expecting the Twino income to drop down close to 1€ a month.

Reinvest24
Second month investing at Reinvest24 and already second payment to my investing account. Received 0.61€ of dividends.
UpSteam Syndicate
In October 2018, I made a small investment of 340€ at Funderbeam into the company called UpSteam. As of October 2019, my shares are worth 1513€.
A year has passed since my initial investment into UpSteam and the value has risen from 340€ to 1513€.
Probably one of my best investments ever.

Ampler Bikes 3 Syndicate

La Muu Syndicate
At the end of October my La Muu investment was worth 390,78€.
Shouldn’t be nothing to worry about as colder months get closer, ice cream sales go down.

Losses
17,2€ of loss at the P2P site Omaraha. Overall a pretty “good” loss from sold loans at Omaraha.

Side hustles
In October I published 2 new Peer-to-peer platform reviews.
Kuetzal Review: Examining One of the Newest P2P Platforms in Europe
Crowdestor Review: A New Online P2P Investment Crowdfunding Platform
#1 Blog income: TargetCircle and Bonusway
In June I decided to put the blog income and affiliate comissions into the same graph, hence the numbers are a bit bigger now. This is the part of some of you have waited for!
In October the blog and affiliate comissions generated 499,41€. I had a hunch that those good months won’t last forever and the income will take a dip. So overall I am still very pleased with the results, because it’s still the 4th best blog income ever.
My blog’s main reason is to log my own investments and share/receive information with all of you. But if you wish to create an account and invest on the same platforms as I. Check the referral links throughout my blog which usually provide bonuses. Remember, investing is marathon not a sprint, every single cent counts! More detailed payout from TargetCircle:
I display two different incomes under the blog income. One is referral income from TargetCircle and the other one is affiliate income from Bonusway. Bonusway – I use it to save money while e-shopping or booking ONLINE. Read more at https://financefreedom.eu/save-money-when-e-shopping-or-booking-online/
A really simple way to save up money, especially on housing and from them random orders on AliExpress … (You know what I mean, we’ve all done it!)
Considering this blog is mostly dedicated to finance and logging my pursuit on becoming financially free, the TargetCircle referral links usually earn me a lot more than Bonusway affiliate links or any other side hustle income.
#2 E-shop income
Octobers’s total revenue: 598,89€.
Shipping costs: 70,9€.
Total profit from sales: 237,49€.
Why is “shipping cost” numbers different from the picture’s “charged for shipping”?
It is because I offer free shipping, if the shopping cart is worth more than 30€, that’s why the number is different from the photo displayed below.
Average gross daily sales were 19,32€ and a total number of 27 orders were placed in October.
The beginning of October was very slow, no orders for 6 days and then it spiked.
October’s goal was to maintain 500€ revenue and earn ~200€ of profit, which was accomplished.
My goal for October was to maintain the 500€ revenue line and earn ~200€ of profit.
For November I am hoping to reach over 600€ revenue and 250€ profit.
Sales in October:
#3 Siteground income
Even though I did not get any sales through Siteground, I had a total of 12 clicks of which 11 were unique. I will not give up. I will continue to recommend Siteground for you guys if you would like to start your own website or blog. Maybe I might even create some content about the Siteground, future will tell.
Want to start your own blog?
I have 3 websites that I own which are hosted by Siteground and I am truly happy with the service!

#4 Revolut income
Same info goes to Revolut, it might’ve not generated any sales, but I know it will in the future! Had 50 clicks on the referral link, which is a good second month.

Blog stats for October 2019
No record this time, but still a really good month for the blog stats!
A total of 3791 (-1,35%) visitors visited my blog and had a total of 7678 (-2,13%) views. Amazing!

Google Analytics queries/keywords stats about the blog
In October 2019, I had a total of 646 (+54) keywords shown at Google. Recorded a total of 272 clicks and 11 106 impressions, which calculates to a 2,45% CTR.
Glad to see that the number of displayed keywords also went up quite a bit in October.
Special thank you notes
Firstly, I would like to thank Siim from https://rahajutud.ee/. Rahajutud (Moneytalks) is basically the centerpoint of every Estonian financial blog. They publish financial articles and bloggers blog posts daily. I regularly translate my blog posts into Estonian and they gladly publish my monthly updates on their site, which always gives me big boost to my blog stats.
Secondly, in September Martin Schmidt Christensen, Co-Founder of http://p2pmarketdata.com/, contacted me about writing an article about P2P lending bloggers. In the middle of October the article was published and I am honored to be part of “TOP 20 P2P Lending Portfolios”. A very interesting read! Do you plan to write more about your e-shop? 🙂
I also have a question regarding the increase of traffic that happened in Feb and then again in Jun-Jul. Where does it come from? Organic traffic?
Hey! As the e-shop is a niche shop, I can’t really discuss about it in lenght, all I can do is show the stats and how the shop is performing.
I guess the bumps in the traffic are due to the fact that I have posted my portfolio updates into several FB groups, Reddit and forums etc.
Organic traffic is slowly but surely increasing. I really hope that in the future most of the traffic would be from Organic sources.
Thank you so much for sharing this information.
I already have accounts in a couple of p2p and re companies, but you made me discover Funderbeam and reinvest24.
I will open accounts using your links.
William
Hey Guillaume,
Thanks for the support!
Congrats with a good month!
Any tips and tricks on how you got your blog viewership where it is today?
Hey Elmar,
I’ve used regular SEO tips for the Google to rank my blog and get organic viewers from there. Also I’m guest posting as often as I can, posting in forums, reddit and Facebook groups etc.
Doing all of those things and some more have boosted my viewership to the level it is today.
Hi, is TargetCircle free for bloggers?
thanks
Hey Bellachioma90,
Yes, it is free for all.
